Are you an FRG?
No. While we are a non-profit and non-federal entity, we are not attached to, or operate under, a specific military command or base.

Who is allowed to join?
Membership includes spouses/partners of active, reserve, retired, and deceased E-7 through E-9 service members in Kitsap. Our group is open to submarine, surface, and all shore commands attached to the area.

My spouse is geo-batching. May I still join the CPOSA?
Yes! As long as you are in the Kitsap area, you are welcome to participate.

What are my membership dues paying for?
As a non-profit, membership dues go a long way! Our dues go toward operational costs including, but not limited to, our website, storage, childcare, event insurance, and marketing materials. Paid memberships also grant the privileges of voting, nominating, holding an elected office, and potential discounts for CPOSA events.

How much does a membership cost?
We offer the payment options of $100 annually or $10 monthly.

Is my donation tax-deductible?
Our tax exemption as a 501(c)(3) has been approved (June 2025)! Donations are now tax-deductible! We greatly appreciate and rely on the support from donors and sponsors. Our federal EIN is 36-5093111.

Q: I am not affiliated with the military. Am I able to shop the Formal Pop-Up event?
Yes! This event is open to all, and we would love to help you find a new piece for your closet! Come shop for prom, special events, interviews, etc.!
