Old GOAT Home Inspections

David Brockmeyer, a Retired Navy Chief, served over 21 years with duty stations in the Middle East, Italy, Japan, California, and Washington State. He entered service as an Aviation Electronics Technician and retired as a Master-at-Arms. His wife, Marian, currently works on Keyport and his daughter, Francesca, is currently attending Central Kitsap High School.

Heronswood Garden

Heronswood Garden began in 1987 and comprises 15 acres in Western Washington’s Kitsap County. Heronswood protects a vast array of plants from around the world, with over 8,000 different varieties spread across six distinct yet integrated gardens. Purchased by the Port Gamble S’Klallam Tribe in 2012, Heronswood now serves as a showcase for tribal culture and operates under the auspices of the Port Gamble S’Klallam Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.

Chloe Hix, born and raised in Kitsap, founded Chloe Mosey Events in 2012 and rebranded the business in 2015. With over a decade of experience in the wedding and event industry, she leads a dedicated team of coordinators, staff, ministers, and drivers. Married to a submariner and a proud mother of two, Chloe balances family life with her passion for creating memorable events for every client. She also enjoys traveling, family gatherings, and embracing a bit of friendly competition!

The Green Light Diner

Dominick Ferrara of New Orleans, Louisiana, is a 21-year US Navy Submarine Veteran and retired Chief Petty Officer. He and his wife, Rosalie, are the proud owners of the Green Light Diner in Poulsbo. Dominick is a Certified Chef de Cuisine and has over 35 years of culinary experience. He and his family are 18-year residents of Kitsap County and currently reside in Poulsbo.

Sunny Jack Events LLC was opened in April 2017 by Sunny Saunders. After spending 15 years in the event, entertainment, and production industry, Sunny Saunders broke out on her own. Sunny is a seasoned event professional with a strong track record of creating vibrant, community-centered experiences across Kitsap County. Sunny currently produces several major regional events, including the Blackberry Festival (2020–present), which is owned by the Bremerton Rotary and remains one of the area’s most beloved traditions. She is also the owner and producer of the Bremerton Bridge Blast (since 2021), Taste of Kitsap (since 2021), Bremerton Night Market (launched in 2024), and the Kitsap Wedding Expo (since 2013).
